Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a Superstar book-keeper/accounts assistant – initially on an adhoc basis with regular work to follow for the right person.
We provide book-keeping, payroll, CIS, auto enrolment and accountancy support to over 200 clients locally.
Practice work is very different to industry – the office is very busy, so flexibility is a must. Everyday is unique and it’s not unusual to work on several clients during the course of one day.
Main duties to include:
- Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Bank & CC Reconciliation
- VAT returns
You must be able to work to TB level and would be required to provide a reconciled balance sheet at year end ready for our in-house accountants.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of SAGE Line 50 and/or Xero would be advantageous
- Excel, Word and Outlook
- Previous experience in a busy practice
- Working with incomplete records
